Job Description
We have been engaged by a client in the Streeterville area of Chicago a residential real estate company looking to hire a Senior Accountant to their growing team. This client has a great company culture seeking a driven individual seeking professional growth.

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and consolidation processes Reconcile G/L accounts including escrows and reserves for Corporate holdings entity Consolidate tenant related accounting Reconcile capital activity Prepare journal entries related to significant transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions and financings. Analyze lease commissions, tenant allowances and other capital items for proper classification. Collaborate with Property Management to prepare monthly variance analysis of operating revenue and expenses. Coordinate with other Senior Accountants to provide consolidated financial and operating reporting for the multifamily portfolio Owner distributions Prepare data to support the preparation of tax returns. Assist outside firms with audit and/or year-end tax filings. Assist with preparation and review of annual property budgets. Participate in special projects and prepare ad hoc reports as needed. Preparation of tenant reconciliations and estimates in accordance with stipulated lease terms.Experience:
Degree in Accounting with 3-8 years+ of Audit or Accountant experience, financial consolidations desired Mid-Tier CPA Firm experience preferred Familiarity with family office or real estate corporate books a plus Excel skills to include pivots and v-lookups #ZRCFS #INMAR2026
