Position Overview Accounting Team Member This role plays an essential part in ensuring an accurate, timely, and consistent financial close process. Reporting to the Controller, the position will be instrumental in strengthening financial reporting practices and enhancing overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the month-end and year-end close cycles, coordinating schedules, tracking assignments, and ensuring all deadlines are met. Communicate proactively regarding progress and potential issues. Prepare a variety of journal entries, including those related to payroll, revenue, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses. Record accurate accruals for expenses incurred but not yet invoiced. Perform thorough reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and proactively address discrepancies. Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, providing necessary documentation, and addressing requests. Contribute ideas and solutions for improving accounting processes. Handle additional tasks as needed.
