• Hiring ASAP We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our growing residential real estate team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong property accounting experience and advanced Yardi knowledge who is looking for a stable, long-term career with a collaborative organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

Manage full-cycle accounting for a residential property portfolio Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting reports Lead month-end and year-end close processes Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations Monitor cash flow and account activity Process mortgage payments, real estate taxes, and vendor payments Oversee Accounts Payable functions Process bi-weekly payroll through ADP Manage tenant accounting, security deposits, refunds, and collections Review lease agreements and analyze financial impacts Coordinate with external CPA firms during audits and tax reporting Prepare annual 1099 reporting Support process improvements and accounting controls

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-3+ years of accounting experience Property accounting experience Hands-on Yardi experience Strong understanding of GAAP Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred:
