This position reports directly to the Controller. As Staff Accountant, you will: Manage accounts payable including matching and keying payables, check printing, and recording of ACH payments Assist accounts receivable by processing credit memos and cross training for billing and deposits Assist Controller with month end close Assist Controller with cash management by monitoring bank account and recording daily transactions. Collaborate closely with other departments to find and obtain accounting documents (Invoices, approvals, etc.) Be the Accounting voice within committee meetings Identify opportunities to enhance accounting procedures and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) Ad hoc reporting, journal entries and special projects as assigned To be successful in this position you need: 1-2 years' experience in AP, AR or equivalent is preferred, but recent Accounting Grads are encouraged to apply A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are required Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work with a Team Strong mathematical and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong working knowledge of Excel Experience in Business Central or equivalent ERP Software a plus
