Job Description

Job Description Summary A professional services firm is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to prepare complex federal and state individual income tax returns and quarterly tax projections for high-net-worth individuals. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage sensitive financial information, and frequent communication with internal stakeholders and external parties. Experience with investment-related tax treatment and entity-level tax returns is highly valued. Responsibilities
  • Prepare complex federal and state individual income tax returns for high-net-worth clients
  • Develop quarterly tax projections and related analyses
  • Prepare partnership and S corporation income tax returns
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and third parties to obtain and review sensitive tax documentation
  • Analyze financial data, including investment income and related tax implications
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all filings Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience preparing individual, partnership, and S corporation tax returns
  • Experience with accounting and tax preparation software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction
  • Familiarity with financial instruments such as stocks and bonds and their tax treatment Education & Experience
  • CPA license required (Master of Science in Taxation is a plus)
  • Experience in public accounting or tax advisory environments preferred Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $125,000 - $150,000
