Hours:
Monday - Friday Pay range is $65,000-$75,000/year

Position Summary:
To aid the Assistant Controller in keeping the accounting and financial processes of the company up to standard and ensure accurate financial reporting and control.
Essential Functions:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and in-house requirements Manage journal entries, invoices, etc, and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts Participate in preparation for the annual audit Help in the development of reports for management Build Financial and Operational reports for the needs of the business - prepared and ad hoc basis Design and present FP&A results and solutions to the Finance Department and key figures within the company Other Special Projects deemed by Finance or Executive Team Review the company's accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with established best practices Support all aspects of accounting management React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned Backup to AP and Payroll as needed Assisting with process improvement for the
Finance Department Minimum Requirements:
Valid Driver License Four year degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is required Professional certification (CPA/CMA) is preferred Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.) Understanding of data analysis and forecasting Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software Experience with Sage 100 accounting software is preferred Well-organized with ability to prioritize Very good communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Excellent attendance
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
