Accountant- Renewable Energy!

Our client is an ever-growing green energy company at the forefront of their industry that is looking to bring on a new Accountant to their Chicago office! With a portfolio exceeding 200 projects worldwide, the company has become synonymous with innovation and sustainability in the clean energy space. This position will oversee all aspects of development accounting, including tracking and reporting project costs, managing project accounts payable, and processing construction draws. Responsibilities may also include facilitating cash planning meetings for development pipeline projects and preparing various financial and tax support schedules.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience. Existing understanding and knowledge of GAAP. Familiarity with Excel and other Microsoft Office products is required. Public accounting firm experience preferred.
