Senior Accountant Location:
Wood Dale, IL Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to support core accounting operations within a privately held manufacturing environment. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting, ensure accurate financial reporting, and partner with operations to support business decisions.
Key Qualifications:
4+ years of accounting experience Manufacturing industry experience required Cost accounting or strong understanding of inventory/costing NetSuite preferred Advanced Excel skills
Responsibilities:
Lead full month-end close (journal entries, accruals, reporting) Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial statements Perform and review account reconciliations (inventory, fixed assets, intercompany) Support cost accounting (standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation) Oversee inventory accounting processes Manage AP/AR activities for accuracy and timeliness Handle intercompany accounting, eliminations, and reporting Perks /
Additional Information:
Salary:
