Job Description:
A growing, privately held healthcare products company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to take ownership of key accounting processes while helping strengthen and scale the finance function within a growing organization. Position Overview The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives. This individual will work closely with leadership to help build a more structured, efficient, and insight-driven accounting environment. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end and year-end close activities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting Support external audit requests and compliance requirements Assist with Accounts Payable and other accounting-related activities as needed Partner with leadership to provide financial analysis and reporting insights Identify and implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes ERP system experience required CPA preferred (or actively pursuing) Experience within a growing organization or private equity-backed environment is a plus Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Why Consider This Opportunity? ?
