Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for completion and maintenance of general ledger transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly financial statements and financial reporting. Responsibilities Monthly financial reporting, including preparation of financial reports and journal entries Construction/development accounting Cash management Balance sheet reconciliations Reporting for third-party owners Assist with annual audits and internal controls Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes Ability to perform additional tasks beyond formal job duties Analyze financial data to identify variances and trends Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial audiences Participate in meetings to provide financial updates and insights Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, property management and/or development accounting. Experience in treasury management preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage Intacct and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
