Job Type:
Direct Hire First Call is recruiting for a Staff Accountant•OEM responsible for supporting multiple areas of the OEM accounting function within a manufacturing environment. This role includes bank reconciliations, payables, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, accruals, and month-end and quarter-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to support accurate and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and resolve reconciling items Support fixed asset accounting including data entry, tracking, and depreciation journal entries Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations Prepare and analyze freight accruals, PPV, and received-not-invoiced accounts Prepare journal entries as needed Support accounts payable with invoice processing and high-volume periods Assist accounts receivable with manual invoicing when needed Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, HR, and Operations to resolve accounting issues Assist with external audit support and documentation requests Participate in semi-annual physical inventory counts (including occasional weekends) Support process improvements and system efficiencies within accounting systems Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal control requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger functions Experience with reconciliations and month-end close preferred Strong Excel and analytical skills Ability to communicate across departments and work in a team environment High attention to detail and accuracy Benefits Competitive salary range: $60,000•$70,000 Full-time, direct hire opportunity Stable manufacturing environment Exposure to multiple areas of accounting (AP, AR, fixed assets, reporting) Monday-Friday schedule (day shift) Apply today.
