Job DescriptionJob Description Magnasphere Corporation is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to join our growing company. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and will work closely with a variety of roles in the organization and occasionally with the corporate accounting team. This position will offer a great deal of opportunity to learn and grow as you help support a diverse group of multiple businesses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Processing and sending customer invoices
Processing and depositing customer payments
Contacting customers on outstanding invoices
Processing vendor bills
Ensuring that bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner
Audit, reconcile and perform adjusting entries as necessary monthly
Assisting with onboarding activities for new customers and vendors
Collecting tax documentation from customers and vendors as needed
Assist with creating monthly financial management reports
Other administrative and accounting tasks as needed
Occasional travel between facility sites (Goshen, IN and Fort Wayne, IN) for activities including meetings, training, audits, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting preferred
Previous Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience strongly preferred
Sage 50 and/or QuickBooks experience preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Organizational skills conducive to data tracking and accounts management
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and meet deadlines
Ability to function well in a team environment as well as work independently
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, vendors, regulatory agencies, or other staff members
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Good communication skills - both written and verbal
Strong integrity and ability to maintain confidential information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Current and valid driver's license
Must be able to complete an I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification and provide supporting identification to confirm your eligibility to work within the USA.

Office environment where the employee may sit comfortably to do the work.
