Job DescriptionJob Description LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a manufacturing company in Hatfield, PA is seeking a detail?oriented Staff Accountant to support day?to?day accounting operations during a 3-4?month contract assignment. This role is fully onsite and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast?paced, hands?on environment. You'll work closely with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial records, support month?end close, and help ensure consistent accounting processes across the organization. Contract (3-4 months) Key Responsibilities Perform daily accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Assist with month?end and quarter?end close activities Prepare and analyze bank, inventory, and balance sheet reconciliations Support AP/AR functions as needed Process accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset entries Assist with inventory accounting , cost allocations, and variance analysis (manufacturing environment) Review transactions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies Generate ad?hoc reports and provide support for internal/external audits Collaborate with cross?functional teams including operations, finance, and supply chain Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 1-3+ years of accounting experience; manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) a plus Strong understanding of GAAP and month?end close processes Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills Ability to work independently onsite in a structured environment Strong communication and organizational skills What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation ($25-$30/hr) Opportunity to gain hands?on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment Supportive and collaborative accounting team Exposure to standardized processes and operational accounting Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
