Job Description

JOIN OUR TEAM AS A STAFF ACCOUNTANT!

As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting while supporting our facility's financial goals. Working closely with the CFO, you'll manage essential accounting functions and provide critical financial insights. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries, reconcile bank accounts, and maintain fixed asset records to support accurate financial reporting. Analyze facility operating expenses, comparing actual-to-budget variances to provide financial insights. Review accounts payable coding and aging to ensure proper expense allocation and timely payments. Serve as backup for bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring seamless continuity in payroll operations. Contribute to the monthly accounting close process to meet reporting deadlines. Assist the CFO in producing the Monthly Operating Report and completing interim and year-end audits. Manage petty cash and ensure accurate, timely deposits of cash receipts. Generate weekly staffing reports and prepare annual 1099 forms for vendors. This position is ideal for a proactive accountant with strong analytical skills and an eye for detail. Join us and help shape our financial future! Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. CPA certification is preferred.
Experience:
2-5 years in accounting, including month-end close activities; experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is a plus.
Skill Requirements:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.

Compensation:
This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range is $64,000- $75,000/annually.
