Accounts Receivable Specialist (Onsite – 4 Days/Week | Portage, IN)

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support cash application, collections, and month-end billing processes in a dynamic, industrial environment. This role offers strong visibility into operations and clear growth potential within the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily cash application across multiple lockboxes, ensuring timely and accurate posting; proactively follow up with customers on missing remittance details to prevent cash delays Oversee collections and customer communication , building strong relationships with primarily steel mill clients to resolve discrepancies and maintain timely payments Execute month-end billing , including fixed and variable invoicing across multiple sites; validate data with a high level of accuracy to ensure proper revenue recognition Support audit and reporting processes by analyzing revenue, identifying discrepancies in tracking workbooks, and ensuring data integrity across billing and shipment activity

Qualifications:

2–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience (cash application, billing, and collections) Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies; demonstrated communication skills and desire for growth

Compensation & Schedule:

Salary range: $60,000–$65,000 Onsite 4 days per week in Portage, Indiana #
