Job DescriptionJob Description This full time position is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate financial information for the general ledger and financial statements in order to support effective financial planning, reporting and attainment of strategic goals. Coordinates the preparation and filing of tax returns and the annual financial audit. About the
Job:
Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks. Translates the Vision, Mission and Leadership traits into daily interactions with staff and internal and external clients. Demonstrates drive, initiative and ownership in all endeavors. Provide highly responsive and user-friendly customer service, both internally and externally. Performs various types of financial analysis. As needed, review and approve weekly Accounts Payable invoices and check disbursements. Troubleshoots Accounts Payable input, posting and computer problems. Ensures accurate preparation and timely filing of the following: 1099s at year-end to appropriate vendors and independent contractors. Property tax returns and applications for exemption Federal & State Income Tax Returns. Annual insurance applications & year-end audits, Government census questionnaires/reports. Be a key participant in the annual budgeting and long-term planning process. Annual year end audit What We're Looking For
    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an accounting concentration, is preferred.
      Experience:
      Minimum 1-3 years in a general accounting role with strong PC skills.
        Skills:
        Analytical mindset with attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Tools You'll Use

        The hours for this position are primarily 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday with additional hours as necessary. All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable education/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
