Job Description

What you'll be doing: Consolidation of Avon financial statements, including supporting markets, checking intercompany transactions, review of markets' submissions, preparation of analysis of primary statements and other data on Avon International level, supporting other projects.
Key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities Consolidation of Avon financial accounts and statements under IFRS, including preparation of manual journal entries for Global Eliminations, and tracking of other consolidation adjustments Performing monthly analysis of below-the-line accounts and reviewing markets' monthly submissions Support of the intercompany accounting process, ensuring the correct application of the related policies and procedures Preparing Balance Sheet and Cash Flow summaries for Avon International under IFRS Preparing selected notes for Group Quarterly Reporting Pack, investigate irregularities and explain the variances Acting as a main point of contact for markets, and providing guidance on expectations and any additional clarifications tor the month end process Ensuring SOX compliance by adhering to internal control requirements, maintaining updated documentation and providing recommendations as appropriate Support of the internal and external audit processes, interacting with the audit teams and providing relevant documentations Close cooperation with Corporate Accounting, External Reporting, Regional Controllers, Group Consolidation & Reporting, Group Treasury, and other teams Contribution to ongoing projects - system developments, group reporting changes, and other
We'd Love You To Have:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred Minimum of 2+ years practical work experience and familiarity with areas of intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, multi-currency consolidations, and financial reporting under IFRS Previous experience with Oracle system preferred Solid understanding of general ledger systems and foreign currency translation Attention to detail and accuracy is a must Advanced analytical & problem-solving skills to research and resolve inquiries and respond in a timely manner Ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner Ability to communicate effectively and influence individuals in various functional areas and different levels of the organization Good MS Office skills, especially Excel
