This role will support financial operations across multiple projects, ensuring accurate cost tracking, billing, and reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage financial aspects of assigned construction projects from start to close Track project costs, budgets, and job profitability Process and review AP invoices related to job costs, including coding and approvals Prepare and submit progress billings (AIA billing) and monitor receivables Reconcile project costs, including subcontractor and vendor expenses Assist with job cost reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting Support month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting Maintain organized documentation for audits and compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of accounting experience within construction or project-based environments Strong understanding of job costing and project accounting principles Experience with AIA billing, subcontractor pay applications, or WIP reporting preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs strongly preferred) Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, Procore, etc.) a plus High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Pay Details:
