This role will support financial operations across a portfolio of properties, ensuring accurate reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage accounting functions for a portfolio of properties, including AP/AR, general ledger, and reconciliations Prepare and review monthly financial statements for assigned properties Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations Track and analyze property-level expenses and variances Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries Maintain accurate tenant ledgers and support billing and rent collections Review and enter lease data, ensuring accurate financial reporting tied to lease terms Collaborate with property managers to resolve discrepancies and support budgeting/forecasting Prepare supporting documentation for audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within property management, real estate, or commercial real estate accounting Strong understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting Experience working with accounting or property management systems (e.g., Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar) preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs strongly preferred) Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines Experience with tenant billing, CAM reconciliations, or lease accounting
Pay Details:
