Job Description:
Schmidtlein & Associates, CPA's, P.A. is a growing CPA firm actively seeking a full time Payroll/Write-Up Associate to join our team. At Schmidtlein & Associates, we are seeking an associate with experience in payroll processing (tax deposits, quarterly and year end reporting) and financial statement preparation including bank reconciliations, account analysis, depreciation, accounts payable, sales tax and accurate accounting presentation. Candidate must also demonstrate quality skills in organization, planning and prioritizing all while being able to manage deadline schedules.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other related field Accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll processing experience Knowledge of QuickBooks or Accounting CS Software Financial, reconciliation, and compilation prepration experience Experience with MicroSoft Office, data entry and standard office equipment Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational skills Ability to professionally engage with clients and staff both verbally and in writing Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities Processing accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll for multiple clients Inputs data and information into systems Will work within cyclical schedules of different and multiple clients Various other clerical and work-related duties within the cyclical schedules Works closely with partners, managers, and staff to facilitate a team approach Maintains strong client service relationships Proactively reaches out to obtain knowledge, additional tasks, and responsibilities Benefits Competitive Pay Paid Time Off and Holidays Year-end Bonus (as determined fit) Medical and Dental plans with flexibility spending account option 401K Plans with Company Matching Contribution Employee Referral Bonus
