POSITION SUMMARY
Oversee the financial activities of the company to ensure accuracy and compliance with best accounting practices. Responsible for accounts receivables and monthly financial statement distribution.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s) Participate in the development of accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls. Responsible for compilation of financial statements for each cost center and department. Responsible for the calculation and posting of cost center allocations monthly. Responsible for monthly reconciliation of multiple bank statements, cash accounts and other records. Ensure GL posting of all ACH transactions. Responsible for accounts receivable activities ensuring timely invoice generation on executed contracts in compliance with contract terms, and proper timely posting of payments. Effectively communicate with contract entities on billing anomalies and provide updates to the MPA stakeholders timely. Prepare payroll accrual entries and upload payroll processing journals. Reconcile ADP data reports. Prepare general journals as necessary for accrual accounting month end. Participate in annual audit process, preparing schedules and liaison with external auditors. Oversite of the 340B Pharmaceutical accounting procedures, including supervision of the program internal audit process. Technical liaison with MPA's 340B third-party administrators. Prepare analysis worksheets as needed, including reconciliations of patient billing system. Process and distribute monthly financial statements. Reliable Attendance and Punctuality Other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Experience:
Two years related experience
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Computer Skills Demonstrates excellent computer skills. Ability to learn specialized and customizable accounting and practice management software systems. Advanced skills using Microsoft products including Word and Excel. Other Requirements Experience with 340B Pharmaceutical Program preferred. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and complete assigned tasks on time.
