POSITION OVERVIEW
Job Summary The Senior Accountant- Financial Systems plays an important role in the monthly close and financial reporting processes for Trilogy and is responsible for administration of the general ledger. Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for general ledger maintenance in both Oracle Fusion and Oracle EPM; owning chart of accounts, entity hierarchies, various validation rules, and system processes.
  • Ensures the accuracy and completeness of financial information between various systems and platforms.
  • Collaborates with FP&A, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Revenue Cycle, Accounting and IT teams to resolve disruptions in flow of financial information.
  • Prepares and posts complex journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations to support the monthly close process.
  • Manages SOX compliance activities for the general ledger system, ensuring effective internal controls, accurate financial reporting, and successful audit support.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor Degree Experience:
5-8 years Licenses and Certifications CPA or CPA eligibility preferred. Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 20lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
