Shift Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours) but additional hours may be necessary based upon workload and event participation. Job Summary Position supports the unit's goal of providing excellent student services in an efficient, timely and friendly manner in accordance with UK's mission, following regulations of all governing agencies with sound financial controls. Member of the management team for administration and operation of the department, including facility and cash security. Responsibilities include supervision of front-line and collection personnel for student loan and student account (tuition/fees) receivable collections; hiring, discipline, performance reviews, schedules, training, salary recommendations, and time approval; liaison between the department and external agencies; ensures compliance with all federal regulations and institutional policies; various committee projects; works with the Project Graduate program; assists students/parents with account resolution; and assists with special and fiscal year-end reporting and analysis.
Skills / Knowledge
/ Abilities Candidate should have experience with management, analysis of data, staff supervision, regulation compliance, problem resolution, detail-oriented assignments, and effective communications. Candidate should have a strong background working with Microsoft Office. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
