You possess a strong background in accounting concepts and have previous experience in the examination, analysis and reporting of financial records, including the reporting of income, expenses and cashflow. You are highly detail-oriented, and accuracy is of the utmost importance to you. You are proficient in MS Excel and enjoy creating and analyzing reports. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring timely reporting of financial records for the Residential sector of our business. You will work closely with the finance team and various managers to ensure accurate, up to date information is maintained and communicated. By effectively reporting financials, you will contribute to the overall cash flow and financial stability of Anderson Communities, Inc. Ultimately, the success of this role directly impacts our ability to invest in growth and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Essential Functions:
Prepare and participate in the annual budget process Routinely analyze and reconcile various general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations Review, reconcile, publish and distribute budget vs. actual reports to property management monthly Prepare monthly profit and loss, balance sheets, and statements of cash flow report for all residential companies Handle financial inquiries from executive and leadership team Prepare and analyze financial reports per unit and per square foot Aid Accounting Manager in projects related to finance, tax and audit, as well as other tasks assigned
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm (on-site)
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts Excellent verbal, written communication skills Excellent computer and organizational skills Ability to prioritize, multi-task and problem-solve Strong attention to detail Clean background check and drug test required
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required Minimum of 2 years' proven experience of relevant financial reporting and analysis Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software, QuickBooks experience preferred Experience in Construction or Property Management industry preferred
