Job Description

Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join a growing team in the Lexington market. This role will be responsible for supporting month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities while partnering with leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial information. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience managing multiple priorities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities + Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules + Lead month-end and year-end close activities + Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting + Analyze financial variances and provide recommendations to leadership + Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes + Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls + Assist with process improvements and workflow efficiencies + Collaborate cross-functionally with operational and accounting teams Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance + 3+ years of accounting experience + Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred + Experience with ERP systems and accounting software + Excellent communication and organizational skills + CPA or CPA-track preferred Preferred Experience + General ledger accounting + Financial analysis and reporting + Audit support + Fixed assets and reconciliations + Budgeting and forecasting + Multi-entity or multi-location accounting experience preferred Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
