Staff Accountant Healthfirst Bluegrass - 3.3 Lexington, KY Job Details Full-time $55,272 a year 17 hours ago Qualifications Associate's degree Full Job Description Help Support Healthcare for All Are you a detail‑oriented accountant who wants your work to make a real difference? Join our team and help support access to quality healthcare for everyone. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our financial operations accurate, efficient, and aligned with our mission to serve patients and communities. What You'll Do Support preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports Assist with month‑end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Coordinate and prepare bank reconciliations Maintain accurate general ledger records for assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses Perform purchasing and accounts payable functions in partnership with the Controller Manage purchase order (PO) requests and maintain purchasing records Help develop and maintain purchasing protocols, contracts, and reorder points Ensure compliance with internal controls and confidentiality standards
What We're Looking For Education:
Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field (required)
Experience:
