The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting payroll, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and compliance-related financial processes across the organization. This position will also assist in the financial administration of the company's sub-entities and contribute to audit preparations and reporting. Key Responsibilities Provide support with payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate compensation for employees. Assist in the preparation and issuance of invoices, as well as processing payments in accordance with company policies. Coordinate billing and invoicing related to employee health insurance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with benefit providers. Support the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable, including tracking outstanding balances and processing vendor payments. Assist with financial and administrative functions related to the company's sub-entities, ensuring consistent practices across all divisions. Prepare and organize supporting documentation for internal and external audits, maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with the CFO and other members of the accounting team on special projects and ad hoc financial tasks as assigned. Assist with the preparation and documentation required for workers' compensation audits, 401(k) audits, and other financial reviews. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support the preparation and filing of health-related tax forms and compliance documents in accordance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and invoicing. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, computerease, or similar). High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting multiple entities or divisions within an organization perferred. Familiarity with audit processes and regulatory filings (e.g., 401(k), workers' compensation, health-related tax forms). Knowledge of benefits administration and healthcare-related billing.
