Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Central, Louisiana. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain corporate tax returns in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Record and reconcile journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage the general ledger, performing regular reviews and reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, including verifying invoices and processing payments.
• Post and track payments to ensure timely and accurate recording.
• Enter journal entries into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Provide support for audits by compiling necessary documents and reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.
