Job Description

Position Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role plays a key part in supporting financial decision-making through timely and reliable reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute month-end and quarter-end close processes, including general ledger journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy across multiple entities Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with
GAAP/IFRS
Partner with Business Unit Controllers to analyze operating results, trends, and variances. Support budgeting and forecasting processes and variance analysis Utilize ERP systems to streamline reporting, improve accuracy, and drive efficiencies Support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records Support processing of Concur reports to ensure accurate general ledger coding
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field A minimum of 2 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in mid-sized or large multi- entity environment Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft GP, D365, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment
