Accountant (Oil & Gas)

Oil & Gas Accountant - Downtown Shreveport $45K+ DOE | Health Care Options Available We are seeking a detail-oriented Oil & Gas Accountant to join a growing team in downtown Shreveport. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with industry experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, professional environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting functions related to oil & gas operations Process revenue, joint interest billing (JIB), and accounts payable/receivable Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close Maintain accurate financial records and support audit processes Utilize Wolfpack software and QuickBooks for accounting functions Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance

Qualifications:

2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in oil & gas Experience with Wolfpack software and QuickBooks required Strong understanding of JIB and revenue accounting High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficiency in Excel and general accounting systems Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
