Job Description
Leader Bank is looking for exceptionally dedicated team members to join one of the country's fastest growing community banks and mortgage lenders. Summary The candidate should be an entrepreneurial and open-minded individual with a desire to contribute to a fast-paced, growing company. The candidate will report directly to the Accounting Manager of the Bank and be expected to lead, take ownership of his/her areas of responsibility and ensure accurate and timely completion of company reporting requirements. Responsibilities Posting daily and monthly entries to the general ledger Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies. Assist with the month end and year end close. Maintaining files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices Researching and assist with inquiries and requested information in a timely manner. Apply knowledge of Excel to analyze financial data, create models. Continuously seek ways to streamline accounting processes, workflows. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have 2 - 3+ years of experience in accounting or a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a major in accounting, finance, or economics. Banking, credit union, or financial services industry experience preferred.

Other qualifications include:
Self-Starter Detail-oriented Multi-tasking Verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office with a proficient excel spreadsheet aptitude. The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Leader Bank salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.Salary Minimum:
$55,000.00 -Salary Max:
$75,000.00 The range listed is just one component of Leader Bank's total compensation package for team members. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, commissions, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
