Staff Accountant - 2+ yr exp required, Associates or Bachelors preferredStaff Accountant - 2+ yr exp required, Associates or Bachelors preferred Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and help ensure accurate and timely financial processes across the organization.
Schedule:
8-hour shift Monday through Friday Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Assist customers with questions regarding invoices, payments, and account information while providing professional customer service Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures Support payroll processing and related reporting Maintain vendor files and process invoices Assist with budgeting and financial analysis Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Support audits and tax preparation as needed Collaborate with management and administrative teams on financial operations Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in construction, landscaping, or service industries is a plus Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) with 4% company match Paid time off and holidays Paid sick time Paid jury duty Parental leave Referral program Retirement plan opportunities Year-round employment Opportunities for advancement Professional and supportive work environmentSupplemental Pay:
