Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join a growing manufacturing organization. Reporting directly to the Controller, this position offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional interested in gaining hands-on experience across a variety of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting, month-end close, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, enjoy working both independently and collaboratively, and have an interest in manufacturing and cost accounting environments. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, and prepaid expenses. Support month-end and year-end close processes through account reconciliations and journal entry preparation. Respond to customer inquiries related to accounts receivable matters. Assist in maintaining balance sheet and profit and loss account support schedules. Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate inventory discrepancies. Conduct cycle count audits and analyze perpetual inventory records for accuracy and valuation. Identify opportunities to improve internal controls and accounting processes. Assist with preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation for interim and annual audits. Participate in ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
