Sr. Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team in Bothell, Washington. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute significantly to our financial operations and reporting processes. Responsibilities:

• Manage the monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
• Perform detailed analysis of balance sheet and income statement variances, providing actionable insights and commentary.
• Prepare and present monthly and ad-hoc financial reports for senior management.
• Oversee the review and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations during the close process.
• Identify and implement best practices to enhance accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with finance teams to streamline operations and improve the efficiency of financial processes.
• Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and contribute to variance analysis.
• Utilize Oracle systems to maintain and review general ledger activities.
