Payroll Accountant
  • Boston
  • Hybrid A growing global professional services firm is seeking a Payroll Accountant to join its expanding Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with strong accounting skills to play a key role in supporting a rapidly scaling organization with both domestic and international operations. What You'll Do Process and support U.S. payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely employee payments Prepare payroll-related journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Manage payroll accounting for compensation, bonuses, PTO, benefits, and related liabilities Reconcile payroll taxes and support quarter-end and year-end reporting activities Partner closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to resolve payroll and benefits issues Maintain data integrity across payroll, HRIS, and ERP systems Support process improvements, internal controls, and audit readiness initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years of payroll accounting experience Experience with payroll, HRIS, ERP systems, and Excel Experience with multi-state payroll processing is a plus CPP certification or progress toward certification is highly desirable This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-growth organization undergoing significant financial transformation and gain exposure to international operations.
