Senior Associate, Fund Finance Boston, MA | Hybrid (3

Monday-Wednesday)
Compensation:
$110K-$125K Base + Bonus This position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse alternative credit platform, supporting fund accounting, financial reporting, fund operations, and investment activity for a range of private credit strategies. The role provides significant exposure to senior leadership, investment teams, fund administrators, auditors, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review fund NAVs, investor capital account statements, and financial reports prepared by third-party administrators
  • Support monthly and quarterly close processes, reconciliations, and fund reporting deliverables
  • Review management fees, fund expenses, accruals, and performance allocations
  • Track investment holdings, portfolio activity, and cash flows across multiple fund structures
  • Support capital call and distribution processes
  • Assist with audits, tax reporting, and regulatory deliverables
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including Investor Relations, Compliance, Legal, Tax, Operations, and Investment professionals
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, internal controls, and reporting automation efforts
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, public accounting, asset management, private credit, private equity, hedge funds, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of investment fund accounting and financial reporting under
U.S. GAAP
  • CPA or active CPA pursuit preferred
  • Experience working with third-party fund administrators
  • Exposure to partnership accounting, alternative investments, and complex fund structures
  • Experience with systems such as VPM, Investran, Geneva, or similar platforms is a plus This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting or finance professional looking to deepen their expertise within alternative investments and private credit while joining a high-performing and collaborative team.
