Job Description
Our client, a well-established educational organization in the Brookline area, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will support tuition billing and receivables, reconciliations, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, and comfortable communicating with families, faculty, and staff both over the phone and via email.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage accounts receivable, tuition billing, collections, and payment trackingPerform reconciliations across revenue and receivable accountsAssist with monthly financial close and preparation of financial reportsSupport reconciliations for donations, grants, pledges, and other revenue activityReconcile bank, investment, and related accountsWork closely with families and internal stakeholders to resolve billing questions and payment issuesAssist with financial aid tracking, reporting, and related administrative processesParticipate in ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed
