Job Description

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Prepare and post journal entriesManage bookkeeping for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online (and/or Desktop)Record and categorize transactions accurately across various client industriesPerform monthly bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations for multiple entitiesMaintain and clean up general ledgers, including miscoded transactionsReview, process and submit payroll through third party vendorsEnsure accurate data entry and prepare reports for accounts receivable and payableAudit benefit reports and invoices to ensure accurate trackingUnderstand and implement Leave policies that are in compliance with local and federal lawsResearch and stay up to date on current labor laws and best practicesAdminister benefit programsProcess employee queries and respond in a timely mannerOther duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or business-related field1-3 years experience in accounting and human resourcesKnowledge of general accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and proceduresCompetency in MS Office, QuickBooks or other accounting softwareKnowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesExceptional organization and time management skillsStrong ability to work independently and coordinate with team members as necessaryExcellent verbal and written communication skills, experience with technical writing a plusAbility to apply discretion with confidential information Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentMust live in Colorado, Montana, or Florida (Colorado preferred)This position requires long periods of time at a computerReliable access to electricity and the internet is essentialThis position is primarily remote and enables you to choose a work environment suitable to you as long as you can focus and communicate with clients or teammates via phone, chat or video. recblid novcqch7vyrrfxuiye5j80xdtrpp1v Not Specified
