Job Summary:
Associate-level Fund / Client Accounting role supporting Daily NAV Production for mutual funds. This position will join the production team in Everett, MA and play a key role in NAV calculation, validation, reporting, and client data delivery. The role supports complex fund structures in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment and is critical to maintaining accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. The work schedule for this opportunity 11:00 AM•7:30 PM EST or 9:00 AM•5:00 PM EST.
Key Responsibilities:
NAV Production & Fund Accounting:
Lead daily accounting and NAV production activities including NAV construction, validation, review, dissemination, and reporting for small•to medium-complexity mutual funds
Client & Data Reporting:
Report and verify mutual fund data to clients, internal business partners, and database providers; complete surveys and worksheets; update and maintain mutual fund databases
Financial Reconciliation & Statements:
Prepare financial statements and perform reconciliations on holdings, accruals, trades, and cash balances; verify tax statements issued to the
Tax Department Issue Resolution & Quality Control:
Review data and resolve escalated issues arising during daily, weekly, or monthly accounting and reporting cycles; maintain accounting records in accordance with internal policies and procedures
Team Support & Operations:
Provide work direction and technical assistance on complex matters; support inquiry management, specialized reporting, and regulatory reporting across assigned fund groups
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required) 1-5 years of experience in fund accounting, accounting support, or financial operations Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment with strict deadlines High attention to detail with strong analytical and reconciliation skills Comfortable making judgment calls in high-pressure situations and escalating issues appropriately
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in Daily NAV production or mutual fund accounting environments Exposure to regulatory reporting or specialized fund accounting teams Experience working with fund accounting platforms and financial databases (e.g., Canoe Intelligence or similar tools)
