Senior Accountant We are actively seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant. This role supports the accounting function for the Business Unit (BU) by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with key accounting processes. The Senior Accountant plays an important role in ensuring the integrity of financial data and contributing to informed financial decision-making. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting corporate accounting policies at the BU level and maintaining appropriate internal controls to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. This role involves working within ERP systems and other tools to support day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and SOX compliance requirements. The Senior Accountant's responsibilities include assisting with month-end close, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, and analyzing financial data to support the business. This individual will work closely with the Assistant Controller and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting, while also identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as the Senior Accountant will collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, dynamic environmen t. Specific Position Dut i e s Support the month-end close process at the BU level, including preparing journal entries, assisting with account reconciliations, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporti ng.

Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, and assisting with inventory accounting to ensure accura cy.

Assist in preparing and analyzing financial data and reports to support business decision-making, including variance analysis related to revenue, costs, and operating expens es.

Support the Assistant Controller in business reviews, reporting requirements, and special projects as need ed.

Ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies and procedures and assist in maintaining compliance with GAAP and internal controls across key accounting areas (cash, AR, AP, inventory, etc .).Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Procurement, Operations, etc.) to support accurate financial reporting and improve data quali ty.

Work with Corporate Accounting and FP&A teams to provide requested financial information and support timely and accurate reporti ng.

Assist in the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts by gathering data and preparing supporting schedul es.

Support cash management activities, including assisting with cash tracking and forecasti ng.

Assist with sales and use tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable state and local requiremen ts.

Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall financial performan ce.

Perform other job-related duties as assign ed.

Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (or similar tools) is preferr ed.

Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support month-end close and business deman ds.

Minimum Qualificati o ns Educati on: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA path or MBA preferr ed.
Experien ce:
1-3 years of experience in a dedicated accounting/finance function, Manufacturing and inventory accounting experience strongly prefer red. Know l e dge Strong understanding of GAAP and fundamental accounting princi ples.

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, and other data analysis funct ions.

Experience working with ERP systems is preferred; experience with Epicor ERP is a plus.

Exposure to core accounting functions such as general ledger, account reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end c lose.

Basic understanding of internal controls and compliance concepts (SOX exposure is a p lus).Strong aptitude for learning new systems, tools, and processes qui ckly.

Demonstrated ability to improve processes and solve prob lems.
