Staff Accountant

$70,000 - $90,000 annually Position Overview Seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional (Staff Accountant to Accounting Manager level) to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close, with opportunity for growth into a Controller role. This is a full time direct placement opportunity with great benefits. Key Responsibilities Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll processing Maintain General Ledger and assist with month-end close Prepare financial reports and ensure accuracy across departments Support tax filings (payroll, sales, property) Assist with HR functions including onboarding, benefits, and employee records Oversee workers' comp, OSHA compliance, and related reporting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3-5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing preferred) Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Experience with payroll, HR functions, and general accounting Familiarity with Sage 300 or QuickBooks is a plus Benefits 401(k) with company match Health, dental, vision, and life insurance PTO, disability, FSA, and tuition reimbursement Bonus eligibility
