Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Staff Accounting Intern supports the accounting team with daily financial operations, month-end activities, and special projects. This role is designed for students pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field who want hands-on experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain AP inbox and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently. Support month-end close activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. Clean up old Purchase orders. Perform data entry, financial analysis, and spreadsheet updates to support the accounting team. Assist with reconciliations. Assist with collecting data for the audits and other accounting duties as assigned Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with internal controls. Other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
