Our mission is simple:
let robots handle repetitive work so people can focus on what humans do best. We're looking for a Senior Accountant who wants to do more than just close the books—you'll help build and scale the accounting function. This is a hands-on role where you'll own core processes across AR, AP, T&E, and the general ledger, while helping us level up systems, controls, and workflows as we grow. You'll be a key player in the month-end close, but just as importantly, you'll identify what's broken (or missing) and fix it. If you like rolling up your sleeves, creating structure from ambiguity, and making things run better every month—this role is for you. This is a full-time, salaried position based in Waltham, MA, reporting to the VP of Finance. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available). Who you are Naturally curious—you ask 'why' Comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out as you go Detail-oriented but able to see the bigger picture A builder: you don't just follow processes, you improve them Collaborative and low ego—you do what needs to get done Clear communicator who can translate numbers into insights Flexible—thrives in an ever-changing environment What you'll do Own the day-to-day Run key parts of the close: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and flux analysis Own accounts receivable and billing processes Own accounts payable end-to-end: vendors, invoices, payments, and scaling the process as volume grows Manage and improve the T&E program, including policy enforcement, expense reviews, and reimbursements Perform account reconciliations across bank, revenue, payroll, AP, and T&E-related accounts Monitor the general ledger and resolve discrepancies Build & improve Identify inefficiencies and implement better workflows across AP, T&E, and close Help design scalable processes and internal controls as we grow Partner cross-functionally to improve financial data flow Take ownership of tools and systems—optimize what we have and recommend what's next Keep us compliant Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation Ensure strong controls across spend (AP, T&E, payroll) Coordinate tax and compliance activities with external partners What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment Strong grounding in
U.S. GAAP
Experience with AP, expense management (T&E), or close processes Advanced Excel skills High integrity and strong judgment with sensitive information
