Full Job Description Bookkeeping Associate Education:
Certificate and/or degree
Experience:
5+ years as a bookkeeper in a professional office
Salary:
To be determined
Hours:
Full-time (8:30 a.m.
  • 5:00 p.
m.)
Hybrid:
No Report to: Managing partner and Office Administrator Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the daily accounting functions of the office as follows:
  • accounts payable: enter invoices into system to process for payment and apply to appropriate accounts
  • daily activity with general operating account and Iolta account
  • write checks for client expenses and general office needs
  • experience with Iolta accounts a plus
  • enter cash receipts and direct deposits into system
  • maintain filing system for receivables and payables
  • miscellaneous administrative tasks
  • undertake special projects or other tasks as determined by supervisor(s) All tasks are to be performed in a professional manner as the position requires access to privileged information. It is expected that the information will be maintained with the necessary degree of confidentiality. The ideal candidate will possess the following personal characteristics:

  • personable, enjoys working with others to resolve issues that may arise
