Staff Accountant Opportunity The Company:
A private equity backed electrical and energy services organization operating in a project based environment, supporting complex commercial and industrial work with a strong emphasis on financial discipline and operational execution.

The Opportunity:
This is a hands on role supporting core accounting functions while gaining exposure to a dynamic, project driven business. The Staff Accountant will work closely with senior accounting and finance leadership and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting as the organization continues to grow. The Staff Accountant's Responsibilities Support the monthly close process including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. Assist with general ledger maintenance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. Support project accounting activities including cost tracking, billing support, and coordination with operations teams. Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements, audits, and lender or sponsor reporting as needed. Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management processes. Identify opportunities for process improvement and support accounting system enhancements as the organization scales. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience:
One to three plus years of accounting experience, preferably within construction, project based services, or a similar operating environment. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to work accurately with detailed data. ERP system experience preferred, particularly within job cost or project accounting environments. #LI-MV1 #
