Job Description

Project Accountant Location:
DMV Area (DC Metro)
Compensation:
$65,000 - $95,000 (est., based on market) A growing real estate organization is hiring a Project Accountant to support accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of development projects.
Responsibilities:
Handle full-cycle accounting for assigned projects Prepare financial statements and account reconciliations Analyze budget vs. actuals and variance reporting Support investor, lender, and internal reporting Coordinate with property and asset management teams Assist with audits, tax requests, and cash distributions Support acquisitions, dispositions, and project funding activities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 1-2+ years of accounting experience Strong Excel and analytical skills Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication and teamwork skills
