Full Job Description Qualifications :
Possession of a college degree in accounting or business required or can substitute with at least 5 years of experience. Strong written and oral communication skills, because of the frequent interaction with supervisors, directors, religious Sisters and Home administration, including the ability to conduct these communications with tact, diplomacy and gentleness. Experience working with multi-entity accounting. Strong organizational and analytical ability to work well under pressure. Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, the Internet, email and ERP financial system software, are required and Netsuite applications are a plus.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist with the month-end close process, financial reports and analyses. Reconcile bank and other balance sheet accounts, to statements and subsidiary systems. Import/enter journal entries from subsidiary systems. Monitor all restricted gifts and grants. Review monthly financial trends for consistent reporting. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and cash flow reports. Assist in annual audit and cost report preparations. Ability to troubleshoot technical questions a plus. Respond to requests for information from Sisters and staff in the Homes.
