High-Volume Payroll:
Execute and audit bi-weekly payroll for a staff of 500+ employees, ensuring total accuracy in tax withholdings, garnishments, and benefits deductions. ...Full-Cycle Accounting:
Manage daily Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), ensuring vendors are paid and revenue is captured promptly.General Ledger Management:
Maintain a pristine General Ledger (GL), performing regular reconciliations and supporting the month-end/year-end close process.Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure all financial and payroll activities meet federal, state, and local regulations for a large-headcount organization.Working hours:
Various Shifts Available Skills:
- Experience maintaining and auditing a General Ledger (GL) for accuracy.
- Experience leading or supporting internal payroll audits.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience preparing tax returns for S-Corps, C-Corps, Small businesses and individuals.
- Experience with multi-state payroll, garnishments, and benefits deductions.
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification).
- Proven track record of managing financial or payroll data for organizations with 500+ employees.
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 yearsQualifications:
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Quickbooks Online
- ADP Workforce Now and/or and/or UKG Pro/Ready
- Excel
- Understanding the full accounting cycle, specifically high-volume Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R).
