Company Summary:
A family office is seeking a highly-detail oriented and service driven Staff Accountant to support complex personal and entity level financial affairs. The firm partners closely with clients to deliver comprehensive financial oversights across trusts, entities, and personal investments, combining high-touch service with institutional-quality accounting and reporting. The role sits at the center of day to day client financial operations and the ideal candidate is highly organized and comfortable operating across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, maintain and consolidate personal and entity level financial statements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and well organized supporting documentation within establish filing systems
  • Serve as the primary point for day to day financial operations, across client and related structures, maintain a comprehensive understanding of cash flows, payroll, bill pay, insurance, and investment activity
  • Support tax, trust, and estate planning efforts by assembling and organizing financial information and ensuring executed documents are properly retained and accessible for advisors.
  • Contribute to special projects and internal initiatives, including ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, accounting support and operational tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and financial statement preparation
  • Experience supporting high net worth individuals, trusts, or complex entity structures
  • Strong communication skills and a client service mindset
