Staff Accountant

Overview:

A well-established, mission-driven organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its finance team. This role will support key accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close, while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completenessPrepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustmentsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesPerform account reconciliations, including bank and intercompany accountsSupport financial statement preparation and analysisMaintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules, including construction in progress trackingAssist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentationPartner with AP, payroll, and billing teams to ensure accurate financial data flowSupport budget analysis and departmental financial reportingContribute to process improvements and special projects
